Consulting Fee

Dr. Huffer’s consultancy for $125.00 per hour to extend the use of this material as affordably as possible to all who need ADAAA Accommodations. Much of this work is accomplished by distance technological means.

Consulting Fee (Partial Payment)

Dr. Huffer’s consultancy for $50.00 to extend the use of this material as affordably as possible to all who need ADAAA Accommodations. Much of this work is accomplished by distance technological means.  This is a partial payment used for selected clients who have prior agreements with Dr. Huffer.

Strategic Plan

Dr. Huffer and her medical and legal consultants will review cases and provide a strategic plan for implementing the protections of the ADAAA for specific disabilities for a one time $500 consultant fee.  This includes telephone, email or other contact if a personal appointment is precluded and review of materials to determine best use of the ADAAA protections.  If the person with a disability feels stuck and exploited, this choice gets the case off high center and enhances the executive functionality of the person with disabilities.

Opinion Letter

Dr. Huffer charges $250 for an opinion letter regarding the person’s disability in the context of public or private services.

Dr. Karin Huffer’s Retainer Agreement Fee

Dr. Huffer provides the following services, where appropriate:

a) Assisting the attorney of record including unrepresented litigants by performing interviews, reviewing the record, and relevant scientific literature and treatises in order to assist the attorney of record with the case preparation as it relates to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

b) Providing consultation as an expert in the fields of Traumatic Stress, Legal Abuse Syndrome (a/k/a Psychological or Forensic Trauma) and as a marriage and family therapist, researcher and author as requested.

c) Designing accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, when appropriate, and monitoring that accommodations are effective and reasonable during legal proceedings and at all times when public or private services are being provided.

d) Providing a written report of the evaluation findings to the attorney-of-record and ADA Access Administration.

e) Assisting the attorney in facilitating and modifying accommodations when needed.

f) Providing expert testimony at deposition, in court, mediation, or arbitration concerning evaluation findings.

g) Facilitating negotiations between parties who participate in Therapeutic Mitigation.

h) Facilitating proper medications, counseling treatments, and all ameliorative services that assist the client in being symptom-free or lessening the effects of the impairment(s).

h) Assisting the attorney-of-record with employment-disability issues, including drafting reports or letters of recommendation.
